This is just a draft to show my progress in creating the front cover of my music magazine.

Band Photo-shoot for Music Magazine Images

Today I have organised a band photo-shoot, I have arranged lighting and got a band to model for my Music Magazine.
The photo below is the photo i will be using on my front cover of my music magazine, it shows the band members posing around the camera. I really like it because it looks like it was taken at a real concert. I have edited it using photoshop CS3 and have made sure that when I took it I left room for the title to fit into the top half of the cover.



The other images are just some example of the photo's i took at the band shoot, i may use some of them in the music magazine.

Possible Font's to use as a title of my music magazine front cover

The title for my music magazine will be "Microphone Fiend", personally this is a good sounding title as it relates to music and the title connotes the type of heavy style of music that my magazine will represent.

Here are some possible font's that i may use for the title of my music magazines front cover.



I really like the font above as it looks eroded and very modern, appealing to the type of target audience that I would be looking to sell to. Also it stands out and looks original.



This font stands out alot, however I feel that it looks to child like and very much in the same style as bubble writing, this wouldn't appeal to the target audience neither does the looks correspond with the title.



This title doesn't stand out as much as i would like it to, but it has better quality's. It looks good, I believe it suits the style of the magazine and is very modern, possibly the font i will use for the final front cover piece.



The font above is similar to the previous font shown before it, the only difference is that it is more contrasting, with the whites and blacks. Again it looks very modern and would appeal to the target audience.

Possible photo's for my double page article

Here are some possible photo's for the double page article i will be writing and producing as part of my Media Studies coursework. I took them at a band rehearsal of a local school band in my area. Some of these photo's will be very useful when producing my double page article as they capture the band really well and look good.



This photo above is well composed, the image looks good and would fit well with some of the other photo's below.
